For the past year I have had the unique opportunity to facilitate a community-initiated project in Western Hill, St. Catharines, as Community Animator with the RAFT. It has been a privilege to work with residents, businesses, government and community partners to initiate and develop the Train Station Revitalization Project including a fabulous community mural project. The success of the project is a great example of what can be achieved when an idea for change comes from the ground up and is met by those with influence and resources.
